We're always on the look out for quality Marketing Talent to join us here at Survive.

But we're a bit different from the normal marketing type job you'd expect. Why? Because the services we offer our clients are designed to be completely flexible. This means we too can offer more flexibility when it comes to working at Survive.

How It Works

Our clients engage Survive to market their business either 1, 2 or 3 days a week. The question is, how many days a week would you like to work? 1 day a week? 5 days a week? Or maybe 4 days a week so you can have an extra long weekend, every weekend?...

Our engagements are also for a minimum of 4 months. But if we and you do a great job and our clients are happy, it gets extended! And everyone wins!

Just like a Marketing Department, our Marketing Managers/Consultants are the main contact point and the planner and implementer of all marketing activities for their clients. They work on the client's business implementing the agreed marketing activities over the next 4 months and have access to and the support of the Survive Marketing Director for direction, input, feedback and advice.

Skill & Experience Requirements

We're looking for generalist marketers with broad knowledge and experience as we could be implementing any of the below types of marketing activities for our clients and more:

  • Business to Business Marketing (B2B)
  • Business to Consumer Marketing (B2C)
  • Marketing Plan Development

Survive also offers a number of project-based services that you may also be considered for depending on your experience, expertise and availability e.g. brand work, website project management, etc.

Position Description

You can view a detailed Position Description for a Marketing Manager/Consultant at Survive here.

Flexible Working Arrangements

Naturally, you'll meet and work with your clients in person, particularly throughout the Marketing Plan development phase. You might also need to visit their premises whenever it's required. But at all other times, you can work remotely while still remaining visible and accessible to your client via email, phone or virtually e.g. Skype, etc.

Survive HQ operates out of the WeWork share space in Pyrmont. You can meet with Survive's Marketing Director in person at WeWork's premises anytime. There are opportunities to book meeting rooms should for example a workshop need to be run off-site for a client and there may also be opportunities to work from a Hot Desk if available.

Our Marketing Managers/Consultants are engaged as contractors to Survive. We only add consultants to the team when our existing consultants are at capacity. Assuming your performance remains at the required level, as new clients come on board, we will always look to fill your available time before engaging an additional contractor.  The only exception to this intended approach is where a specific type of experience is required for a new client.
